I heard this version back in the 80’s in elementary school when some kid sung it.

The one I heard was
Jingle bells
Rudolph smells
Santa Claus is gay….

And that’s all I remember

Its Jingle Bells, shotgun shells, santa claus is dead.
Rudolph took a .45 and shot him in theb head, Hey!
Barbie dolls, and the other dolls tried to save his life.
But G.I. Joe, the eskimo, stabbed him with a knife.

Sometimes we had this opening verse before the “chorus”

Dashing through the snow,
On a pair of broken skis,

After the “chorus” we had

Batman’s in the kitchen,
Robin’s in the hall,
Joker’s in the bathroom,
Peeing on the wall
Penguin’s on the potty,
His arms too short to wipe.
Catwoman’s in the litter box,
While Riddler smokes a pipe.

(Alternately “Penguni’s in the freezer, Alfred’s in the study, Catwoman’s in the litterbox, I think that’s everybody”). In the 90’s I heard from my nephews and nieces the “Batmobile lost a wheel” version. So what I did to entertain the little ones is do the first verse, the chorus I grew up with, the second verse, and then the second chorus I do the “Batmobile lost a wheel” version.

That’s the one I grew up with in Alaska!

Whoops – “Robin laid an egg” was meant to be “Robin flew away” — of course, so that it rhymes with USA! I must have gotten my wires crossed somehow.

I remember hearing this on the playground; perhaps I was around 12 at the time?
