Block access to Apple Intelligence features in Screen Time on Mac
You can turn on Content & Privacy Restrictions in Screen Time to restrict access to Apple Intelligence* features like Writing Tools, image creation features and ChatGPT on supported devices.
Note: You can use Apple Intelligence features on a Mac or iPad with M1 or later, iPad mini (A17 Pro), all iPhone 16 models, iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple Intelligence is not available in all languages or regions. ** To access the most recent available features, make sure you’re using the latest version of macOS and have Apple Intelligence turned on.
Block access to Writing Tools
Choose Apple menu
> System Settings, then click Screen Time.
Click Content & Privacy, then turn on Content & Privacy restrictions.
Click Intelligence & Siri, then turn Writing Tools off.
Block access to image creation features
You can restrict access to image creation features like Image Playground, Genmoji and Image Wand.
Note: Image Wand is currently available on iPhone and iPad.
Choose Apple menu
> System Settings, then click Screen Time.
Click Content & Privacy, then turn on Content & Privacy restrictions.
Click Intelligence & Siri, then turn Image Creation off.
Block access to ChatGPT
Choose Apple menu
> System Settings, then click Screen Time.
Click Content & Privacy, then turn on Content & Privacy restrictions.
Click Intelligence & Siri, then turn Intelligence Extensions off.
