I am the Lead Maintainer of urllib3, one of the most used Python packages in the world (1B+ monthly downloads on PyPI alone).
I serve alongside a brilliant team of maintainers to keep the project secure and stable. My primary focus includes:
- 🤝 Reviewing: Helping contributors land their code.
- 🛡️ Security & Health: Managing vulnerability reports and maintaining security posture.
- 📦 Release Management: Ensuring smooth delivery of updates to the ecosystem.
This responsibility also drives contributions to CPython and other projects across the Python ecosystem.
Outside of code, I am active in Plast, the biggest youth organization in Ukraine, where I lead groups and organize activities.
