Add current organizations/resources

[edit]

Hello, I was wondering if maybe I could add a section of current organizations or resources for the sex workers movement. I think it might be helpful if anyone who is reading this and would like to help make a change. I think adding it into its on section would also be easier to find.Let me know what you think Lalexg23 (talk) 07:16, 27 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed new page

[edit]

Hello everyone! I put together a draft page in my sandbox today which will be entitled "List of non-binary political office-holders" if it is published. It aims to highlight officeholders who fall under the non-binary umbrella. Let me know if you think this page is robust enough to be it's own page, or if I should merge it into the Non-binary page instead. Thanks and I hope to hear from you all. There is an ongoing RfC at NPOVN on whether gender exploratory therapy should be described as a form of conversion therapy. Editors interested in the issue are welcome to comment. TarnishedPathtalk 06:09, 14 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Rape by type

[edit]

Can someone explain to me why this is a subcategory of Category:Crimes against women when the category isn't gendered at all?--Trade (talk) 02:37, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly because "rape" is statistically gendered (i.e. women are more likely to experience rape) but not ontologically so (i.e. rape isn't exclusive to women - men can be raped too)? Not sure exactly. Katzrockso (talk) 02:45, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
But then Category:Prison rape is a subcategory of Category:Crimes against women despite the victims being overwhelmingly male
Imho this is a complete mess. I'm gonna change the category to something else to avoid the issue if nobody protests Trade (talk) 04:33, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion about WikiProject banner templates

[edit]

For WikiProjects that participate in rating articles, the banners for talk pages usually say something like:

There is a proposal to change the default wording on the banners to say "priority" instead of "importance". This could affect the template for your group. Please join the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Council#Proposal to update wording on WikiProject banners.
