"The conventions put an end to the Allied occupation of West Germany."

As of today Germany (unified) has UK and US troops stationed there, by definition i wouldnt call a nation with tens of thousands (or more) foreign troops "unoccupied". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.156.138.236 (talk) 21:28, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal

[edit]

I've just removed a merge tag from this page which was added by Ssolbergj in July 2020, proposing General Treaty be merged with Bonn–Paris conventions. I removed the tag because there was no discussion about this proposal, and no reason given for why they should be merged. If anyone disagrees, please obviously revert me/re-add the tag. @Jieagles, Ssolbergj and Seagull123 I have been bold and merged the two as they cover the same topic and this is the far better article name.
